You missed one important point: C++ is not supposed to be easy, it is
supposed to be powerful. Which means, you have to learn it, understand it
and practise it and _then_ talk about it. (Just like slack :-) )

C++ has its drawbacks like so many programming languages, but its success
did not come by chance.
