Maybe it is a PTP (think that is the right acronym) file? Try the Pentax
site and see what file system they use. Or, gtkcam, flphoto and gphoto if it
is not a new camera. Best I can do! Thankfully mine pops up on the desktop
as msdos when I plug my camera, oly 5060, into the USB port as sda1. GL
