Go for it, MySQL builds fine. One thing: I ran into trouble trying to make it
adhere to the seperate directories. MySQL wants to do: /usr/local/mysql (all
in that branch) by default. Had I spent more time on it, I probably could've
gotten it to fit in the normal way, but this way works fine as well. Just make
sure you define where the mysql socket will go. You can even add SSL support,
which is one thing I had brought up, but I guess wasn't implemented in the
packaged build.
