Hey guys and gals,

I just bought an Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe board and it has the Silicon Image
Controller in it and it seems that the bare.i kernel doesn't see it. Now
previous I had the A7N8X-E Deluxe board that had the Silicon Image 3112
controller and I installed 10.0 without issue. I was pretty much under
the impression that the 3114 just had 4 sata sockets instead of the 2
that the 3112 has.

So, Anyone work with this controller before and have any advice? I have
googled my brians out and really don't see an answer per say so I
figured I would consult a more central forum....being here :-D
