I have an ASUS board coming in a few days. My understanding is to use the
2.6.10 sata kernel for install vs. bare.i. Unfortunately this is still in
the planning stage and I cannot speak from experience.
It appears there have been major changes in the handling of SATA from 2.4.xx
to 2.6.10.
