Good to hear. When I remember right the machines have Differential SCSI
controllers, so that means there somehwere is an differential->SE converter
inside the machine to allow the use of SE disks?

Why should there be a limit of 9GB? I have used bigger drives in much older
RS/6000 without problems. Or do You mean that IBM doesn't sell bigger drives
than 9GB? That shouldn't be a problem, either since I want to replace the
4GB disks inside the hot swap housing with a bigger SCSI disk.
