Well, to be more specific, there is no built in SCSI, so it is
determined by the type of card installed. All the beasties I dealt with
were differential, but then that was for a large project which required
multiple servers feed a robot, and the extra distance was deemed
desireable. Can't imagine why one would do differential for just the
internal drives. I could swear there were SE cards available in those
days....
