I have Ubuntu Edgy on my A135-S4427 & the Synaptics works fine.

Kernel is Ubuntu's 2.6.17-11 with a ton of modules loaded - only ones
I'm sure are mouse-related are psmouse & usbhid (for my USB wireless
Logitech). My Belkin USB mouse works too.
