This must be so obvious, I've never seen it asked, but I can't figure out
how to do it. I tried

# modprobe printer
modeprobe: Can't locate module printer

The Gentoo Printer HOWTO seems to assume that this will work.

Please help. Just pointing me to the right documentation should
do it. Thank you.
