Hi all,

within two different networks I use a Lj4+ and a LJ5 (both connected to the
ethernet and the firmware is uptodate). The LJ4+ runs in a RedHat network
as expected.

Here at home with Gentoo and Cups 1.1.9-r1 + ghostscript 7.05.6-r3 (and
earlier versions of both as well) the system sucks...

Firsts of all it doesn't take my papersize however which way I use to tell
the system that I wanna A4 it asks me later to insert "letter" in tray3
(yes I do have it and it's filled with A4).

What to do????

The other thing is, anyway how I set up the maschine which is equiped with
18MB ram (replaced to others allready with no success) the printer
interrupts every 3 pages and continues than after a few seconds (so you
hear the fan and everything reducing the RPMs and than relaunch the job...)

Any hints here????

PS: both are without PS-modules
