Just wondering if any amd64 user is stepping here through. I'm just
interested in hearing user stories, keep contact and solve some small
problems.

Owning my amd64 running on an asus k8v for 3 days and it's amazing,
Can't believe to have lived without this box in the last decade. It's
sooo fast, i still can't imagine.
BTW: may any P4HT user may post some emerge times?
These are mines (using "-O2 -pipe"):
- gcc: 14 mins
- XFfree: 22 mins

Still having some sound issues on my asus k8v. Anyone got the via
hardware to beep (no error, everything seems ok, sound unmuted, just no
sound - tested oss and alsa, bios speech works)?

Is there is there any special (64bit) application whith wich i can
impress my friends and show them the power of the k8? Mentioning the
very short compile times is very impressive but you can't really "see"
something...
