So I was attempting to install cups and foomatic going by the guide on
gentoo.org...I followed it to the letter. But when I get to "modprobe
parport", it insists it can't find any such module (same goes for
parport_pc). "insmod parport" can't find a thing either.

Anyone have an idea what my problem might be ? I do have parallel
port support and parallel printer support compiled into my kernel.
