Re: Portage package downgrades... Might be a freaky dependency thing, usually something to do with different
SLOTs of the same software, you can typically figure it out using etcat
(it's part of app-portage/gentoolkit). But, it's simpler to just use the
-U ( --upgradeonly ) flag with -pu, that way it won't downgrade at all.
