Concerning cdrecord.ProDVD - it's closed source from the author of
cdrecord, which is distributed freely. You will need a license key, but
it is also freely available (for private use i guess). You will get it from
ftp://ftp.berlios.de/pub/cdrecord/ProDVD.
Also you may look in app-cdr/xcdroast, depending on your USE flags it
will also use (a not that current) version of cdrecord.ProDVD
