I was surprised to find that the Gentoo manual is actually useable by a
person new to Gentoo. However, they assume that you have an internet
connection through your ethernet card. Alas, I don't and have to connect
with a ordinary modem. Does anybody have a procedure to set up a dialup
connection right after liveCD bootup time? The usual Linux ppp setup
doesn't work obviously since there is no OS yet.
