That's probably it right there.
My man pages don't show any of that ('man domainname' shows me info on
'hostname', and nothing as specific as what you show...). I must admit I
don't know what a NIS/YP domain name is. But since my Gentoo box is
performing well on the network, I guess if I need to know at some point I
can look it up
