I have them

This is my current config (temporarily I have the /dev(fs))

I did run.. well it made few devices and it might be sufficent to play any
sound which I didn't check due to the fact that immediatelly after startx
i saw that my gkrellm-sound plugin stopped working (dissappeared) i.e. I
still didn't have the /dev/pcm etc I guess

That's a good tip. really. By any chance you know what could be
responsible for:
unable to set user font which also probably causes the (any)term fail to
start + some weird keyboard problems related to this I guess - when booted
in such "missing-dev" environmnent I was going out and wanted to emerge
some stuff. so without the X I did so, and suddenly my PC speaker started
playing some weird "alarm-music" quite chaotic and I think invoked from
what was going on the creen during the emerge.
