Did you ever stop to consider *why* you had to jump through hoops to
install this? Did you read the comment in the global mask file
(/usr/portage/profiles/package.mask). Things are usually quite broken
when put in there, and the comment for that version of blender is:
# <lu_zero_AT_gentoo.org> (02 Dec 2004)
# Masking since this version is broken
Are you *sure* you really want to do this?
