Well, I guess that's OK, then. It seems to be masked because of bug
71778 (http://bugs.gentoo.org/71778). It would appear that not all
scripts are installed correctly, so while it may work, you don't get the
complete functionality. But obviously it's up to you if you want to use
it or not. I can't say I don't use my fair share of heavily masked
packages as well :-)
