Why? Only -U is evil, not -u.

Root shouldn't receive mail, it should be forwarded to a regular user.
Think about what would happen if someone mailed an exploit to your
root account - you would execute it as root.

The problem with the world is stupidity. Not saying there should be a
capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the
safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?
