The "best" choice depends on several factors such as the maximum OS
file size for your platform, the maximum Oracle file size which depends
on the tablespace block size in use, your backup plan and storage
medium.

The objects stored in the tablespace and their usage patterns may also
be a consideration.

If you are using raw partitions your administrator may also want to
define all partitions in specific sizes such as 512M, 1024M, 2048M,
4096M or similar.

Only you can determine how you would like to manage your file system.
