Both RedHat and SUSE are either "recommended" or "validated" platforms for
DB2 (depending on the exact release of DB2 and Linux you are talking about).
I don't see CentOS listed, even though it may be a clone of RedHat.

I believe that all of the TPC benchmarks that IBM has conducted suing the
Linux OS use SUSE, so I am sure that IBM has a lot of confidence in it.
