Hello! Can I ask you, techy linux guys?

We work with two russian translation agencies, which translate
manuals, and I want to know - who's the best. I attached two identical
technical translations from different translators - can you read and
tell your opinion about quality of translation?

The first question is, what do you mean by "quality"?

I would suggest you need to find a trusted Russian
translator, and have the two versions checked by
someone who can read what was in the original.

The First Translator provides a much smoother
rendition. If you intend to publish the translation
unedited, go with this one.

The second appears to be quasi-literal, and perhaps
much closer to just what was written in the original.
You need a very good editor (rewrite man) to put this
one if a form suitable for the general public.
