Default Firestarter won't go away in KDE

I brought up Firstarter once in KDE, and now every time I login it's there
and I have to close the window. Even when I close it and uncheck the
Restore Settings in the control panel, it still comes back (and complains
that I'm not root).

I'm using KDE 2.2.2 and Woody.

Could someone tell me why it's doing this?

Thank you.

Does 2.2.2 have the option to save the setting? I can't remember. If it
does, shut down Firestarter and save the session.

I don't see any such option. All I've found is the option to restore the
current session. Enabling/disabling this has no effect.

I had a similar issue with Kpsion and I found it had inserted a simlink in
~/.kde/autostart

Take a look in that folder and see if it's autostarting itself for you.

I opened a terminal window, logged in as root, and killed the firestarter
process. It doesn't come back now.
