Default howto disable ipv6

Hi,

I put:
alias net-pf-10 off
in /etc/modutils/aliases and do:
update-modules

But even after a reboot I get a IPv6 address.

How to disable the IPv6 module to be loaded ?
I've the kernel 2.6.8 with sarge.

Thanks a lot.

Default Re: howto disable ipv6

I did this:

Create a file in etc/

modprobe.conf

Then insert the lines:

alias net-pf-10 off
alias ipv6 off

then reboot - ;-)

Hope this helps
