| Hi all, I have a problem with my ADSL internet connection on Sarge. Every 60 seconds, dhclient reconnects, and access to network is lost. Here is the message in /var/log/messages: localhost dhclient: bound to xx.xx.xx.xx -- renewal in 60 seconds. What could be done to prevent this? TIA, Patrick |

Start with, as root, man dhclient. -- OS squared: open software times open standards. |

Yes, I have only the following line: send dhcp-lease-time 86400; But I always get the same message: renewal in 60 seconds, and the connection stops for about 10 seconds every minute. Any help will be appreciated. Patrick |
