| I'm unable to print PDF files from either a PDF viewer or from acrobat reader. I notice that the printer is setup as a CUPS printer and not as a local printer : strange since when I first installed it it was detected & listed as a local printer. I think a driver update alterd that. Any suggestions as to how to get PDFs printing? (Ubuntu 5.10) |

I removed the printer and simply plugged it back in again, re-initialised it and it now works again for periods of time. Sometimes it wont print, but a power on/off fixes that. Since I dont fancy recompiling kernels and other such support fixes, its good enough for now. -- "I don't see any naked native girls hungry for affection" - Pete Lorre. 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea. |
