I tried to follow this guide : https://help.ubuntu.com/community/En...systemLVMHowto I am able to get in using the following suggested recipe : * Mount partitions & chroot * Install missing software to fresh installed ubuntu * Customize /etc/crypttab, /etc/fstab, /boot/grub/menu.lst * Rebuild ramdisk However, when I try to rebuild ramdisk, I get an error message : cryptsetup: WARNING: invalid line in /etc/crypttab - The resulting ramdisk does not have a conf/conf.d/cryptroot file. Upon reboot, the system hangs, then complains that /dev/mapper/lvm-root does not exist and drops to a shell. What is going on ? |
