I know I've seen others with similar > questions. Does anyone know Gnome2/Gtk2 well enough to tell me where > the system defaults are stored? Solution: In /opt/gnome2/share/themes s-link into that folder any theme folder that is for gtk2, and name the link "Default". In my specific case, all the folders there are links to /usr/share/themes, but not everything in _that_ folder is gtk2. I copied my favorite "Dirty-Ice" from ~/.themes (after my own tweaking) into /opt/gnome2/share/themes and added an s-link within the folder as "Default", as well. SoftEdges |
