| A client wants to add a 3COM NIC to his 5.0.5 machine. (It already has 2 3COM 905s in it, and he would like to add another.) The only one I can find new is the 3C905CX-TX-M, and I can't find that exact model number on any SCO documentation, so I'm not sure if it will work or not. Anyone have a guess as to whether or not this will work with the existing 905 driver? The card worked ok until we plugged in a few too many other tcp devices. Then it kept loosing the tcp service. Replaced it with a Intel pro 1000 and it hasn't hiccupped since. Ron |

I put up a post a couple weeks ago, made the change to 100 FD and it now works great. Leaving it set to auto stinks. The auto works fine with the 905A and 905B's but something about the newest 905C's, I have issues until I make the change. moncho |

Interesting. I had problems with 905CX-TX-M: when attached to hub or switch all those reported errors. On SCO box nothing did show errors - except that nothing couldn't transferred... Finally I replaced the card with older 905C, which works fine... But I didn't take autonegation off - that could be problem (or not) > > moncho > > Money, it's a crime ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mika Reunanen | Homepage: Mika .
