| i need to get a QIC (Tandberg 4/8 GB) tape working on an SCO OpenServer 6 box (with MP2). It is an HP Proliant ML-350 G5, with HP's SAS HBA. i put in my trusty Adaptech 29160 - BIOS recognizes both it and the attached tape. How can I force OpenServer 6 to see it? The tape & HBA aren't coming up. I note that on SCO's certified HW site, the 29160 is still listed as supported. /etc/default/scsihas recomments ad160 driver, yet man ad160 says it is no longer supported. I'm not sure if the latter is a remnant from OSR5 mixing to UW, or a sign of trouble. --- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - --- -Joe Chasan- Magnatech Business Systems, Inc. joe@magnatechonline.com Hicksville, NY - USA http://www.MagnatechOnline.com Tel.(516) 931-4444/Fax.(516) 931-1264 |
