| This is to announce C-Kermit 8.0.211 (10 Apr 2004), superseding version 8.0.209 of 17 Mar 2003: http://www.columbia.edu/kermit/ckermit.html This is primarily a stability and update release, incorporating support for several new platforms including: OpenVMS 8.1 / IA64 FreeBSD 4.9 and 5.1 Mac OS X 10.3 Version 8.0.211 fixes all known bugs and adds several minor new features: . INPUT /NOMATCH allows a script to read (and possibly log) incoming material without trying to match it with any strings or patterns; . SET INPUT SCALE-FACTOR can be used to adjust all INPUT timeouts upwards or downwards by the given factor; . ASK-class commands can now supply default answers; . FILE READ (FREAD) has new /TRIM and /UNTABIFY options; . If you define a macro called ON_CD it is executed automatically every time you tell Kermit to change directories.
