Default Bonuses and exceeding expectations

According to a recent filing in the bankruptcy court, SCO's execs were
paid (or asked the court for permission to pay) bonuses after exceeding
their net revenue targets by over 100%!

Wow, sounds impressive!

Only one problem: the target was NEGATIVE! Yes, the target was a net
revenue of approximately MINUS $1M and the achieved net revenue was MINUS
$2M. Yet, the compensation committee still thought that the bonuses should
be paid.

Wow, with management like that, how can this company fail?
