| Hello, I have a SCO OS 5.05 server with a modem to allow dial-in access for people off-site. Recently, it is acting up and not remaining enabled. The console message is as follows: "Dialer failed on /etc/getty/tty2a I/O Error 5" If I go in and "enable tty2a", this corrects the problem temporarily but it keeps disabling itself again. I've been looking through my manuals here and googling like crazy to find out what that exactly means but I've had no luck so far. Does anyone know what that means and/or how to go about fixing that? Thanks in advance Mike |
