Hi all,

We have a legacy app that is written in Foxpro 2.6 for UNIX. A couple
of screens are behaving badly. I am thinking it is a terminal emulation
problem. I have tried an old version of termlite, but no luck. A
number of fields let you type, but do not accept any characters (as if
the keyboard entry just goes into the bit bucket). Other fields are
fine. We can not seem to find any programmatic difference between
fields that work and ones that don't. Does anyone else have Foxpro 2.6
running on OSR 6?

try recompiling it.
also, a foxpro unix app is very old for a modern unix.

Unfortunately, we need it to operate a little while longer. It did work
on past SCO Openserver versions.

Have you tried it with OpenServer 6 with MP3? I have been very successful
with it.

Have you followed the instructions in TA:

when installing FoxPro?

If this is not working in a termianal emulator, have you tried to see
if the same
happens on the server console?

MP3 is the latest maintence pack for OpenServer 6. You can get it from
SCO's Download page.

Have you tried Anita terminal emulation from April Systems www.april.se
We haven't found any issues using the "SCO ansi console" emulation.
