I could not find GNU date (source or binaries) for SCO, please help me
locate it. Target system is OSR 5.0.7 MP3

It's in gnutools, however the latest gnutools will _slightly_ break your mp3 by downgrading some files from mp3's gwxlibs. Fix those up by reinstalling gwxlibs or mp3, or any newer version of either. As it happens, mp5 exists, so just install that.

So, the recipe is,

first touch /tmp/gnutools.nocheck

then install gnutools
ftp://ftp.sco.com/pub/openserver5/op...utools-5.0.7Kj

Then install osr507mp5
ftp://ftp.sco.com/pub/openserver5/50...507mp5_vol.tar

Then you will have a /usr/gnu/bin/date.
