| I have added a 3com network card into my SCO 5.02 box. It appears to add without issue. Relink of the kernal is successful. However after a reboot I go back into the netconfig and look at the settings I get some messed up things. Where the IP address is supposed to be I have the word netmask, where netmask is supposed to be I have broadcast and so forth. I have reinstalled the network card as well as trying different network cards with the same result. Any help would be great. Thanks ahead of time! |

I have seen this on 5.0.2 when something prevents netconfig from updating and copying files correctly. Remove the NIC with netconfig, relink and reboot. What do you have in /usr/lib/netconfig/chains and /var/opt/K/SCO/lli/5.0.2?/ncfg ? Mike -- Michael Brown The Kingsway Group |
