Default openserver 5 boot problem

hello,

i have an OpenServer5.0 system with what appears to be a corrupt root
filesystem. i dont have the install media or a emergency boot disk. how can
i get this system to boot so i can run fsck?

In what way does it "appear" that the root filesystem is corrupt?
