| On the SCO Support Site: http://www.sco.com/support/update/do...sr507list.html they show two Java packages as being "recommended": java.142_08b and java.131_16 both of which are called "Java 2, Standard Edition (J2SE)". That's a little confusing to me, going from 5.0.6 t0 5.0.7. Do I need to install both of these, or just the java.142_08b (which, according to its number, is a later version)? More than likely, just Java 1.4.2 (the latest and greatest we support on OSR507). Updates to both J2SEs are provided since some customers enjoy sweating to the oldies and/or don't need any of the new functionality of later Java releases. -aps |
