| Has anyone been able to get PostgreSQL 7.4.x to compile on 5.0.7 with gcc 2.95 as supplied by SCO? I tried a while back, without success, without any clues to a workaround in the PostgreSQL newsgroups. The version supplied by SCO is 7.3.4. It generates a variety of errors when a database created under 7.4.1 (Cygwin port) is copied to the older version (7.3.4) running on 5.0.7 with pg_dump and pg_restore. I'd like to move a small production application from a Windows workstation to the 5.0.7 server, but but need to have similar versions on all for backup server availability. David P. Lurie |
