Then you are taking an extraordinarily short-sighted view of things.

This SCO/Linux scrap is one part of a bigger picture that ought to be
damn important to anyone who wants to understand Operating Systems. We
are in real danger of Microsoft being the only OS you *get* to
understand.

Unfortunately, SCO's myopic view has caused them to enter a lawsuit
which, win or lose, can only strengthen Microsoft. That's one of the
many things that our resident hecklers don't grok.

The world is driven by politics, and has been since before the Greeks
invented the word it comes from. This is politics, it's important, and
your reference to it as drivel is simple ignorance.

FyRE, Brian and the rest of that gang can be hard to take. But they
represent a POV that you need to understand and combat - unless you
don't care that Microsoft picks up all the marbles.
