| Nachman Yaakov Ziskind typed (on Sun, Sep 12, 2004 at 03:40:07AM +0000): | SCO OSE 506; since the beginning of time (502?) I get these | errors whenever fixmog runs: | | | /usr/spool/lp/admins/lp/interfaces/backup is the wrong type | of file: | Type is directory (d), should be regular file (r) | /usr/spool/lp/admins/lp/interfaces/sysfilters is the wrong | type of file: | Type is directory (d), should be regular file (r) | | I've been ignoring it, but I always wonder what the heck's going | on, and what I should do to fix it. | Directories are not expected to be in /usr/spool/lp/admins/lp/interfaces, just files, so you're warned about it. I've not ever heard of anything dire happening when directories *are* present there, so I'd suggest you ignore it... -- JP |
