So it was amird controller 0 bus 0 id 0 lun 0 amird controller 0 bus 0 id 0 lun 1 Mike -- Michael Brown The Kingsway Group |

I installed 2k server this morning to check it wasn't something i'd forgotten to do with the drives and that worked. I've also tried the controller card in H20 mode and mass storage mode. Any other suggestions gratefully recieved at this point in time Cheers. Patrick. |

I did not know that drives have I2O mode, did you mean the raid controller? The command would be consistent with the second container having a LUN of 1, mkdev hd ID number lun ha [ bus ] where the SCSI ID is 0 the controller is SCSI-0 LUN is 1 the host adapter is amird and on bus 0 Did you try this command before loading WIN2K and had it fail, but it worked after the 2K load? I'm no master SCO installer, but i'm pretty good with hardware and the like and this really threw me off. Still don't get why win2k worked and sco didn't and then on the retry it now worked. |
