Is the printer powered on, online, and connected to the network? Are you able to ping the printer's IP address? I suppose if you had a very large number of print jobs out there waiting to be printed that could "hang" lpstat. You can check the /var/spool/lp/requests directory to see if you have a large number of files in there. Is this printer configured as an HP Network printer? |
