Any directory you recognize in /lost+found can just be immediately
mv'ed back where it belongs.

Run idmknod to recreate the devices or glean the numbers from mdevice.

You should NOT be emailing me directly. This should be done through
the newsgroups unless someone specifically requests moving it to email.
Private email does no good for anyone else and is also annoying for
the recipent (me).
