It can do far more than that though, including working as a PDC, BDC, domain member, print server, and relaying WINS data across subnets (so that windows clients can see other domain members on another subnet). Your other Linux desktops wouldn't have to run the Samba server to mount Windows shares, BTW. Microsoft is on its way out here! Frank |
