| Hi, I'm installing a 5.06 system on a new server. I want to have up to date patches an supplements before running this for users. (My system is a small P4 Dell PowerEdge 600SC with Perc 3/SC Raid.) I've downloaded rs506A and all SLS for 5.06. When i read software "Notes and Recomendation" for some SLS i can se that : some of them should be installed on Openserver 5.0.6 (ie oss629a or oss636a) some should be installed on Openserver 6.0.6 with RS 5.0.6a installed (ie oss635a) some should be on Openserver 5.06 or 5.0.6A. Does that mean that, if i install rs506a first i must not install oss629a as it is only for 5.0.6 ? Thank in advance. Emmanuel Jaeckert |

I would strongly recommend that you install 5.0.7 instead, simply to avoid the time spent fully patching 5.0.6. Depending on your hourly rate, the time saved would probably pay for the cost of the upgrade, and you'll end up with a possibly more stable system to boot (no pun intended). Bob |
