Remote printing error

Hello,

I have a customer with multiple locations that uses remote printing
extensively all locations are running SCO open server 5.0.7 patch to
maintenance release 3. At one location when you print from any remote
location, certain complex print jobs are messed up. Every time the system
receives a mail message as follows.

Subject: Status of lp request 816laser-18213

Your request 816laser-18213 destined for 816laser

encountered an error while printing on printer 816laser.

Reason for failure:

The output ``port'', a FIFO, was closed before all output was written.

/usr/spool/lp/admins/lp/interfaces/816laser: 14023 Memory fault - core
dumped
************************************************** ******************

The same print job works at all other remote locations and the print job
works locally.

I have swapped the parallel ports.

I have replaced the interface file from working locations.

I am at a loss.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
