Default SCO to sue **deserting** customers

AFAICS,

SCO's IP/copyright claims are centered around a bit of code that has
entered into a few Linux servers (but is not include in main Linux
distros) which makes it easier to migrate SCO apps to Linux.

Obvious then that potential litigation targets will be SCO users who are
migrating to Linux.

Also clear that many migrating companies, whilst knowing that they
**could** migrate without these code snippets could non the less decide
to pay off SCO in the short term just to wash thier hands of the process
(so long, and thanks for all the fish....).

But there are many companies who have migrated and have used this code,
and thus have simply decided to rend under ceaser what belongs to ceaser.

Either way....SCO are evidently just wringing the last drips out of
thier failed attempts to supply competitive x86 *nix platforms and that
they have been sending out a lot of spin to imply that they somehow have
IP rights on Linux in general.

In the long term that would seem to be a bit stupid. They may (legally)
make a few dollars charging rats to desert the sinking ship, but they
are laying themselves open to deffermation claims from Linux
distributors and service companies in general......perhaps with a class
action.

Perhaps they don't plan on being around long enougth to get that far ;-)

"Deffermation" must refer to the state of being deffer.
"Deffer" must mean more def.
"Def" means skillful or good.

Therefore the prediction is that SCO will be sued by Linux outfits
because SCO's products are better.

OK.

Deffermation refers to the art of deffering

Therefore the prediction is that Linux outfits will sue SCO for
consistently delaying on all this promised legal action ;-)

Ah well, if you are going to be pedantic about the f's then Defer means
putting **off** to a later date :-)
