| Just wondering what happened to dhclient-exit-hooks in the latest versions of OpenBSD. I have an old 3.0 installation that is running fine but we have decided to upgrade the machine and also upgrade OpenBSD to 3.4. I found dhclient-exit-hooks and I need to find a way to do the same exit hooks in 3.4. Anybody have any ideas how to get exit hooks or to get scripts to be run post-dhclient??? Thanks, Ben |

I don't know what they where thinking as I too needed the old way that dhclient worked with the dhclient-exit-hooks script. My work around has been to go to isc.org website and download version 3.0 of the DHCP suit of applications and use those over the supplied version that comes with OpenBSD. I had DHCP problems with the version of dhclient that OpenBSD includes with my cable ISP and so I had no choice but to start using the newer version of DHCP from ISC.
